Background

[edit | edit source]

Cameron Co-Dyre is an undergraduate engineering student at the Western University. He is very interested in renewable energy, alternative farming methods, 3D printing, and robotics. With his background in robotics and 3D printing Cameron plans to apply his knowledge and experience to developing environmentally sustainable technologies.

As a captain of his FIRST Robotics Competition team, Cameron led the design, prototyping, and manufacturing of 3 competitive robots with two competing at the world championships in Houston Texas. To build the robots, Cameron 3D modeled, printed, fabricated and assembled custom parts and hardware, wrote engineering documentation, and led team strategy sessions.

Most recently, Cameron participated in the Western Engineering Competition, Western Engineering FIRST Ri3D(Robot in 3 Days) challenge, and is a member of the Western Engineering Rocketry Team.

Open source NFT hydroponics farm

[edit | edit source]

The aim of this hydroponics farm and it's project documentation is to create an economically accessible project that will allow a user to manufacture, assemble, and operate their own indoor NFT hydroponics farm. It is versatile and can be expanded upon at the users discretion. All components of the farm can be found on Amazon.ca or at a local hardware store.
