Hi, I'm a second year engineering student at Western University. I've been a member of the Electrical & Controls team at Western Engineering Robotics for over a year, and this year I joined the mechanical team at the Western Engineering Mars Rover club to gain experience with Solidworks.
After graduating, I plan on becoming an electrical engineer. As a student, I'm pursuing entrepreneurship on my own time.
I'm a curious person and I love learning, so I enjoy working on technology and design projects where I can learn new skills and meet people.
Past Engineering Projects
[edit | edit source]Space-Themed Lamp Diffuser for ES1050 Engineering Design Project:
[edit | edit source]In a team of five, we designed, used CAD and 3D printed a lamp diffuser with the given project constraints, and used it to administer light therapy for a certain amount of time. We integrated Google Home as value-added so that users can play relaxing music or control the lamp with their voice.

Code is available on GitHub: https://github.com/mmbaguette/Space-Themed-Lamp-Diffuser.
Upright: A Fall or Injury Detection App
[edit | edit source]An iPhone app and website that detects when an at-risk user falls or get injured. Whether you fall off your bike on your way to work, skiing down a mountain, or going for a walk as an elder, the app informs your emergency contacts and shares your location and the severity of the injury.
This was my submission for the Hack Western 11 coding competition. I worked in a team of four to code this in 36 hours.

In addition, I encourage anyone to check out my GitHub where I post all of my open-source projects that I'm working on: https://github.com/mmbaguette.
