Hi My name is Abdullah Hisso and I am a high school co-op student working with the Free Appropriate Sustainability Technology (FAST) research group at Western University. I am currently a high school student completing a co-op placement in biomedical engineering research at Western University.
I am interested in biomedical engineering, sustainability, and hands-on lab work. Through this co-op, I am learning lab safety procedures, research methods, and how open-source hardware can be used to support health and sustainability.
I am a member of the Free Appropriate Sustainability Technology (FAST) research group under the supervision of Dr. Joshua M. Pearce. My work with FAST includes:
- Assisting with lab setup and safety procedures
