This course has a critical difference from other Trauma Management courses. The target of instruction is the Team.

TTT Providers Course[edit | edit source]

Each of you will be assigned to a team by the course facilitator. The teams will have unique names for each course. Examples from past courses in Kenya were named after football teams: Admirals, Leopards, Stars, and Sharks. The Teams in the initial course for Guyana will be named after rivers. Amazon, Berbice, Courentyne, Demerara and Essequibo

You will have individual activities and group assignments, all of which you will perform with your team. Certificates will be presented based on successful course completion. The platform monitors your participation through the completion of interactive questions, which are inserted in videos and presentations as well as quizzes and video assignments.

Grading will be based on your Pre-Course Evaluation and Survey, modular Formative Evaluations, team exercises, and Post-Course Evaluations and Survey. You will be busy with the expectation you will complete all of the activities. You will watch and interact with various videos and presentations, and you will also have homework assignments either before or during the course. We expect you to learn a lot and enjoy the course.
