The prostate is a gland located inferior to the bladder and surrounding the proximal urethra.[1] In men in their twenties it is about the size of a walnut, and it tends to grow larger with age.[2] Simulation of prostate tissue is relevant for training in transurethral resection,[3] biopsy procedures, and digital rectal examination.[4]
