TissueDB/Tissues/Placental Tissue
Placental tissue is a vascular, disc-shaped organ that interfaces between maternal and fetal circulation. In simulation, placental tissue analogs must replicate the organ's soft, spongy parenchyma, vascular branching pattern, and membrane attachment for manual removal of placenta training and postpartum haemorrhage management.
