The fallopian tube is a paired tubular structure that connects the ovaries to the uterus and transports the ovum. In simulation, fallopian tube models support training in microsurgery, tubal ligation, patency evaluation, and ectopic pregnancy management.

Mucosa Innermost Ciliated epithelium; provides fimbriae at distal end; allows ovum transport
Muscularis Middle Smooth muscle in an inner circular and an outer longitudinal layer; its contractions carry the ovum along the tube
Serosa Outermost Peritoneal covering; provides low-friction gliding surface
Mesosalpinx Mesentery Peritoneal fold of the broad ligament; the tube runs in its superior edge and one to three tubal arterial branches run in its middle third
