TissueDB/Materials/Plaster Bandage

From Appropedia

Plaster Bandage is a plaster-of-Paris–impregnated gauze used in medical simulation to simulate bone structures. When wrapped around a rigid substrate and dried, plaster bandage produces a hard, rigid surface that approximates the palpation characteristics of cortical bone. In the Man-O-War Chest Tube Simulator, plaster bandage strips are wrapped around cut plastic ribs to simulate rib rigidity during chest tube insertion training.[1]
