TissueDB/Materials/Papier-mâché
Papier-mâché is the prepared newspaper-and-glue composite used to make the airway shell in the Di Domenico bronchoscopy trainer. The source describes newspaper strips soaked in water and vinilic glue, then layered over a covered build form and dried.[1]
Working with the mixture
The documented build uses a 2:1 water-to-vinilic-glue mixture, soaks newspaper strips for 1 hour, applies 6–7 layers and allows approximately 48 hours to dry at ambient temperature. These are that build's source settings, not universal values for every papier-mâché recipe.[1]
