TissueDB/Materials/Body Lotion

Body lotion is an ordinary over-the-counter skin moisturiser used in medical simulation as a low-cost stand-in for pus. In Wittenberg et al.’s model, a glove fingertip filled with lotion was detectable with a handheld ultrasound, allowing drainage practice with and without ultrasound guidance.^[1]
