TissueDB/Materials/Body Lotion

Body lotion is an ordinary over-the-counter skin moisturiser used in medical simulation as a low-cost stand-in for pus. Its consistency lets it be sealed inside a thin membrane and drained through an incision, and it is echogenic enough to be found with a handheld ultrasound probe, so one model serves both the ultrasound-guided and unguided versions of an abscess drainage procedure.^[1]
