Buoy's screen is different from other ROV's screens that we use in the way that it is wireless. Because buoy never goes under water we can get good signal from using wireless signals. This page will show you how to set up the new screen to buoy.

Screen and Buoy Set Up[edit | edit source]

Buoy[edit | edit source]

To get buoy ready you need to:

  • Plug both Buoy and Buoy UW in
  • Hook up a camera to buoy and have the appropriate cords plugged in and hooked up correctly|

Screen[edit | edit source]

To get the screen ready you need to:

  • Charge the screen(the screen will not find the signal as good if it isn't charge)
  • Have antennas attached
  • Set mode to RF1

Connection Process[edit | edit source]

First turn on your screen and go to RF1 on the mode part. Then at the bottom there is a button that says auto 1, press that twice or until it says RF1 Searching ON. Give it a second and it should pair up with your camera. If that doesn't work try doing the exact same steps but on RF2 and using the auto 2 button. If video is messed up go to menu and change the video system or make sure your camera is plugged in well. The picture might be orangy so you can go into the screen settings and change it around until its normal.
