Overall I think it looks like a solid start. Think a little more background explanation in the intro/overview could help a bit. I am also really interested to see the material that is basis for this article. The real research, which I am assuming will go under the last section about the nanoparticles and the functionality, will make this great.

Also, if at all possible, link keyword to the rest of appropedia and if the page does not exist in appropedia make stubs and link them with a definition to wikipedia. That will help to make this a very well written and self-contained piece of educational material.

Looks like you're headed in the right direction. Organization is good, and I think the topics flow well into each other.
