These meetings started in early 2007, inspired by the Idealist.org website.
First meeting: We talked about:
- using wikis to share information
- finding or starting a wiki for information about political candidates. (The Campaigns Wikia and Issuepedia were suggested as possibilities.)
- lots more which slips my mind right this second.
Decisions/action plans:
- Look at starting a wiki for this election. Or, it might be more effective to look at the federal election later this year. Are there any sites already making progress on this same goal?
- Wikia:Campaigns:Australia - just a stub.
- Wikipedia:Australian General Election, 2007 - encyclopedic article. Good starting place for info, but Wikipedia is not meant as the place for analysis.
