Sense of Well-being Among Vegetarians

From Appropedia

Individuals who switch to a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle often report an overall sense of well-being. Specific sensations include: higher energy, "lightness", and reduced post-meal fatigue. These sensations are distinct from the feelings of fullness or of actual weight. Although this phenomenon is widely anecdotally reported, little if any scientific research has been conducted into the possible causes of these sensations.
