Mowable meadow
The Mowable Meadow is a permaculture-oriented lawn maintenance method described by permaculture advocate Paul Wheaton in his book, Building a Better World in your Backyard. In it, Paul describes a method of maintaining native and naturalized perennials with infrequent and deep watering (mimicking optimum rain cycles), and mowing high to increase photosynthesis.
