Glycerine soaps

Glycerine or glycerol is an emollient. It is produced naturally from either vegetable or animal sources. It can also be produced synthetically.

Glycerine can be purchased in a liquid form from health food stores, some supermarkets and pharmacies. It is colourless, sweet-tasting and non-toxic.[1]

Glycerine can be used for a variety of purposes such as a sweetener or in soap making.
