Who am I?[edit | edit source]
- My name is Ella and I am a first year Environmental Engineering student at Cal Poly Humboldt.
- I like lot of things including cats, my family, my friends, chemistry, engineering, dancing, listening to music, playing music, going for really long hikes, the texture of silk, Birkenstocks, american history, cooking, getting things done, making lists, calendaring, traveling, going to the beach, swimming at the beach, being alive, and cats the musical.
- I am from Davis California, where I lived for the first 18 years of my life
- In the future I hope to become 0 waste, learn how to surf, be a part of a musical cannon brigade, become an opera singer, hike the entirety of the pacific crest trail, hike from Los Angeles to Mexico, be a preserve manager for an NGO, stop climate change through whatever means necessary, and be happy.
Why do I like engineering?[edit | edit source]
- I like Environmental Engineering for a multitudinous amount of reasons, but generally because it combines design with hard science and the environment.
- I hope that majoring in Environmental Engineering will give me the skill to make the most impact of my community through environmental restoration.
- I like working on large projects and with people.

During my Introduction to design class my team and I created a series of YouTube videos to keep Zane Middle School kids entertained and engaged during the Covid-19 pandemic.
