Calibrating an ESC
Materials

- Breadboard
- Push button
- 12 volt source
- Fuse above 18 amps and Fuse holder
- Brushless Motor
- Arduino
- Arduino wires
- Wires to connect to fuse and battery

This is where the "SET KEY" is.
Calibrating The ESC
[edit | edit source]- Switch off the ESC
- Switch on transmitter
- Hold down the "SET KEY" on the ESC
- Switch on ESC
- Press button once within two seconds of turning on the ESC
- ESC will send a beep- beep- sound telling that it has read the maximum value
- Press button again
- ESC will read minimum value sending a beep- beep- sound letting you know it got it
- Release the "SET KEY" setting will be finished

Wiring The ESC
[edit | edit source]- Plug in the ESC to a battery using a fuse on the positive side
- Use a three pin wire to plug the ESC into the arduino
