CAD model collections

This article describes free and paying CAD model collections to speed up projects. Note that the paying models can mostly not be used to start modelling from, due to copyright issues. It can be used only as an example, but the 3D modelling work needs to be redone entirely. Also note that the distinction in "free" and "paying" collections is but an indication. Some sites as DAZ 3D, Artist3D, ... offer both free and paying 3D models.
