About the challenge

As socioeconomic inequality and the depletion of natural resources escalate, so does collective stress and the threat of another global conflict.

We live in an interconnected world, in an interconnected time, and we need holistic solutions. We have a crisis of inequality, and we need climate solutions that solve that crisis.

Description

Build, test and demonstrate all-green self-organized live/work cellular pedestrian communities with hybrid economies and social contracts that will secure quality of life and true systemic sustainability for their residents. To counteract fragmented, Cartesian thinking, social philosopher Nicholas Frank has coined the term Holigent to describe the new qualities that emerge from holistic thinking (holistic-emergent). The blueprint for achieving this is featured in Frank's latest book (April 2018), Holigent Reconstruct: America, Europe, the World.
