SELF/Blood Pressure Measurement

By the end of this module, learners will be able to accurately measure a patient’s blood pressure manually using a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope.
They will understand how to select the correct cuff size, position the patient appropriately, identify Korotkoff sounds, and account for environmental factors that may affect accuracy. Learners will also be able to document readings clearly, including relevant details such as cuff size, arm used, and patient position.
