I've previously acted as the senior staff in charge of program development and management Cornell's [http://www.johnson.cornell.edu/sge/ Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise].

In this role, I lead the day to day work in organizing the NSF-funded planning workshop for spring 2007 which will drew together leading researchers interested in aligning engineering and management education to improve the creation and commercialization of sustainable technologies. I am also responsible for identifying and promoting an international network of scholars and practitioners interested in this intersection of business, science, technology and [[sustainability]]. I'm member of the Youth Action Team Steering Committee for the [http://www.uspartnership.org/ US Partnership for the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development] which provides a platform for youth to connect, share, and collaborate towards sustainable development. From 2005-2006, I was the Director of Operations with the national office of [http://www.eswusa.org Engineers for a Sustainable World] (ESW) where I helped mobilize their national chapter network, managed ESW projects, and led outreach and educational initiatives. As a student at [http://www.iastate.edu Iowa State University], I earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering, founded the local chapter of Engineers for a Sustainable World and began projects in Uganda, Thailand, Brazil and Mexico to engage engineers in [[sustainable technology]] creation. I also provide additional support for the [http://www.johnson.cornell.edu/sge/programs/sill.html Sustainable Innovation Learning Lab] and [http://www.johnson.cornell.edu/sge/programs/bop.html Base of the Pyramid Learning Lab] programs through my research on academics, practitioners, programs and initiatives at university and company level that are focused on sustainability and technology.
