About Me

Nicholas Colbrunn

Major: Environmental Science, energy and climate. In progress at Humboldt State University CA.
  • I am one of the College of Natural Resources and Sciences Associated Student Representative at Humboldt State University where I also work for the Recycling/Sustainability department. I am a transfer student from Columbia College CA, where I completed my A.A. I took the non-traditional route through college working full-time and taking one, two late classes a semester. I am now a full-time student with plans to graduate with my B.S in spring 2015. I plan on finding a job that will be involved with protecting the environment and working outside as much as possible.

Interests in Appropriate Technology

Other Fun Fact about Me

  • Love snowboarding, I taught it for several years but injured my self to much and decided to go to school and get a degree and leave the snowboarding limited seasons. I have a dog that is living with my parents. I have several houseplants and a beta fish. I have chosen to attend Humboldt State because they offered a great environmental science program and it is near the ocean. I regularly travel to the beach where I collect rocks, driftwood, and sea shells to bring back to my family who live in the mountains. I believe in protecting the environment not only for our children but for all life.
