Ayon Shahed
I am a recent graduate of the Masters of Engineering program at Queen's University with four years of experience in the field of solar energy. My studies focused on primarily on solar thermal systems, solar PV systems, policy development, data acquisition and instrumentation devices, energy modeling and sustainability in business practice. I have also acquired experience with feasibility studies analyzing both technical and financial viability of projects.
Prior to university I attended schooling in both Canada and Bangladesh. I would like to eventually work in the field of international development and utilize my skills to provide education, engineering and aid to underprivileged societies. I am specifically interested in labour initiatives, use of technology for empowerment and appropriate design.
