Hello, my name is Brenden White, but you can just call me "Brenden." I am a mechanical engineering student at Cal Poly Humboldt with no specific discipline. I personally enjoy mechanical engineering for the fact that it is a generalized engineering practice that can be applicable almost anywhere, and that's what I strive to be. I can appreciate the art of a professional that can be thrown into almost any situation and have some sort of application to the task at hand. Ultimately, I just want to be useful and be able to help wherever and whenever I am needed.

I have been going to school for a long time, since Fall of 2018. Since then, I've accomplished almost all of my lower division courses and achieved an associate's degree in General Engineering. I am currently working towards my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering so that I can pursue my career further.

I have more than a decade of experience fixing computers, working with servers, networking, and network security. I ran a small local business as a computer technician where I completed both simple and complex tasks in the field. I also worked under a friend that taught me the inner workings of manufacturing. He is a senior moldmaker and owns his own machine shop. He specializes in plastic injection moldmaking as well as precision manufacturing. Under him I was able to learn a basic grasp of the manufacturing side of the creation process, tips and tricks of being a better engineer so that I can make the lives of the production side easier, as well as a basic understanding of how to manufacture things myself. A lot of my other skills, such as soldering, came about when I decided to start tinkering and doing my own projects. I've replaced electronic components in vintage audio equipment, as well as have done basic electronic repairs and my own electrical work. I have mechanical experience as well that I've gained by repairing cars and doing my own work on bicycles.
