About Me[edit | edit source]
Hi, my name is Steve Camara. I grew up in Trinity County, CA, and after I graduated high school, I immediately started my undergrad career at UC Santa Cruz, studying marine biology. While I attended UCSC for two years, I was also involved in a river restoration program in N. California, within the Yurok Tribe Fisheries Design & Construction program. Experiencing the restoration work first hand, I was eventually persuaded to transfer to Humboldt State University to join the environmental resources engineering (ERE) program. I'm now focused on completing my undergraduate degree at HSU, while continuing to work for the Yurok Tribe, primarily doing survey work.
