Introduction[edit | edit source]
Currently a sophomore Electrical and Computer Engineering dual major at Michigan Technological university. I am pursuing a research project working under Dr. Joshua Pearce where I will be working to develop software to assist in the day to day management of university administration, including management of funds, scheduling, and other various related topics.
Early(er) life[edit | edit source]
I am originally from the suburb of Kalamazoo, Portage MI. I was previously the head of my FRC scouting program and have also been a TA for the previous year. In the fall of 2020 I joined the Aerospace enterprise at MTU who work to create small satellites to fulfill various contracts set out by the Air Force Research Laboratory.
Current Projects[edit | edit source]
Aerospace Enterprise[edit | edit source]
- Working on a set of driver with a team to connect the main On Board Computer with the payload computer to communicate mission specific data as well as send commands to start and end mission specific operations
- Also working on a driver to communicate between the On Board Computer and the main Global Navigation Satellite System which assists in providing navigation and time data to the rest of the satellite
Open Source Development[edit | edit source]
- Working with Dr. Joshua Pearce of MTU to develop a pilot for a suite of open source university administration software to decrease costs and increase efficiency within university administration systems
Hobbies and Interests[edit | edit source]
I am interested in computer security, most specifically but certainly not exclusively hardware security. Also I am interested in music and is a part of the university chamber choir. My hobbies include but are not limited to: tabletop RPGs, weightlifting, blaseball, cybersecurity competitions, baking, armchair mathematics and armchair statistics.
