I am currently enrolled in the Cal Poly Humboldt Environmental Resource Engineering program. I graduated from Eureka High School in June of 2011 and began taking classes at College of the Redwoods the following semester. I transferred to HSU in the Spring of 2013. I am an Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 129 based in Eureka, CA and a novice backpacker during the summer. I have hiked in the Sierra Nevada three times, twice I have been to the top of Mount Whitney (14,505 feet or 4,421 meters). My primary goal with an environmental resource engineering degree is to attempt to preserve the environment for future generations because the environment is being dwindled away right before our eyes and soon all of it could be gone.
