I am an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering and Alternative Energy Technology student at Michigan Technological University. My academic interests include improving renewable energy sources to be more environmental and affordable. There are many renewable energy technologies that are not being used due to a lack of education, cost of installation, and even environmental factors that can be mitigated with simple solutions. My area of most interest includes geothermal, passive solar, and photovoltaics due to their affordability and wide application.
