About Me
[edit | edit source]I'm Khalid Fayed, a Smart PV Operations & Maintenance Engineer at Huawei, based in Cairo, Egypt (available to relocate). I provide technical support and troubleshooting for Huawei SUN2000 series solar inverters and LUNA2000 energy storage systems across the Middle East and Africa region—working through installation, commissioning, and live operations; diagnosing equipment and performance issues through DSP log analysis and system alarms; and validating fault diagnosis, RMAs, and escalation paths.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering from Mansoura University (Oct 2020–June 2025, GPA 3.46/4.0) on a fully funded USAID scholarship. As part of that scholarship, completed an exchange semester (Aug–Dec 2023) at the J.B. Speed School of Engineering, University of Louisville, USA (GPA 4.0/4.0), taking coursework in Energy Science & Engineering, Biomass, Engineering Economic Analysis, and Power System Analysis.
