From Jan 2010 to Nov 2013, I was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, spending 18 months in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Currently, I am enrolled at Michigan Technological University; pursuing degrees in Materials Science and Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. Since Winter 2014, I have been involved with the Surface Innovations research group exploring in vitro corrosion of zinc and zinc alloys.

I am working on[edit | edit source]
Currently, I am working on a customizable sample tube holder. My research focuses on long-term immersion testing, within an incubator. Therefore, I will need upwards of 20 sample tubes, segregated by time periods. By designing my own holders, I can minimize the cost and simplify my organization.
