Name: Joseph Zofrea
I was born in Long Beach, California.Currently I am in my third year of classes at Humboldt State University. I am majoring in Environmental Science with an emphasis in environmental policy. In the future I would like to work with the National Park service or a environmental advocacy group and help manage our nations dwindling natural resources for future generations.
Interests in Technology and the Environment
GREEN ENERGY: specifically solar and hydrogen technologies currently in place and how these ideas can be applied world wide.
CRADLE TO CRADLE CONCEPT: Our world revolves around single use items and planned obsolescence. I'm interested in how we can change these practices while still maintaining economic growth.
WATER PURIFICATION IN THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES:currently much of the world population does not have access to clean water and I always enjoy reading about how people are creating affordable and effective ways to counter act this.
