I am currently studying Environmental Resources Engineering at Cal Poly Humboldt.I grew up in Los Angeles, California. I came to Humboldt State to study engineering because I have always been concerned with the poor conditions of Los Angeles's environment and want to make I change. I also want to learn more about applied mathematics to make more connections with the world I live in.

- At HSU, I was selected to be a part of a group called the [Klamath Connection], which gave me the opportunity to explore areas of my field inside and outside of the classroom.
- For over 4 years, I have volunteered at a nonprofit organization called [Tree People]; they strive to inspire, engage and support people to take personal responsibility for the urban environment, making it fun, healthy, safe and sustainable.
