Sites searched[edit | edit source]
It searches the government websites of four major nations of the Anglosphere (USA, Canada, Australia and NZ) and a number of intergovernmental institutions. Those institutions are currently (9 Aug 2013):
- un.org
- who.int
- fao.org
- ilo.org
- unicef.org
- unesco.org
- undp.org
- unep.org
- unhabitat.org
- worldbank.org
- adb.org
- afdb.org
- iadb.org
- oecd.org
- europa.eu
There is also one governmental institution, so far, not captured within the regular government domains
- csiro.au
Development ideas[edit | edit source]
Finding more government sites - search for
- URL patterns? energy.*.gov, carbon.*.gov
- "climatechange" site:.gov ccs OR "carbon capture" OR "carbon dioxide capture"
- cut down the noise for these searches with -site:climatechange.ca.gov -site:epa.gov...
This was put together initially in one hour. It could easily be expanded by:
- Adding other governments. I started looking for German government sites but they don't share a common domain (other than .de which is not restricted to government.) A list of government sites would be useful, but my initial Googling was unsuccessful.
