Summary[edit | edit source]

I am currently in my fifth year as an undergraduate student at Michigan Technological University. I study Electrical Engineering and Engineering Management. I played varsity tennis during my first four years at MTU. Currently, I am working as a graduate coaching assistant for the remainder of my undergraduate studies. I am known as an easy-going person, approachable and relatable. I am looking for personal and professional development. In addition, I am a highly motivated worker and I have an above average leadership and time-management skill set. I acquired and strengthened these skills by working three jobs in conjunction with a full course load. My natural leadership traits were further developed through my position as captain of the women’s varsity tennis team. I am a member of MTU’s Blue Marble Security enterprise. I have been a project engineer for two of their projects SERC Army 01 Novel Back-packable Power Sources and Cost Effective Vision Pick Point System. I firmly believe I possess the organizational and communication expertise necessary to benefit and advance any research group, as well as strong practical knowledge that will help me to exceed your expectations.

Projects[edit | edit source]

Cost Effective Vision Pick Point System[edit | edit source]

Develop a vision pick point system using primarily COTS components to interface with a robotic arm, sponsored by General Motors

  • Create a bench scale prototype and perform testing to refine the concept and determine accuracy of the vision system
  • Establish a means of communication between the Python-based vision system and the robotic arm
  • Serving as a Project Engineer

SERC Army 01 Novel Back-packable Power Sources[edit | edit source]

Worked as a project engineer on developing and testing new power sources and electrical storage systems to reduce the size, weight, volume and logistics burdens associated with currently available battery systems. Users require high performance battery technologies that increase the specific energy and specific power capabilities of current batteries as well as increasing their recharging performance, depths of discharge, cycle life, and operational robustness.
