Hi

I am Anahita Homavand (M. Sc. Polymer engineering). I am a formal member of editorial board of Baspar (Plastics, Rubber and composites magazine) from 2013 to present. Of course, I am reporter of biopolymer news and environmental subjects in Baspar magazine (To write about 2 or 3 pages about these topics every month). For example, I wrote an article and reported about COP 2015 (UN climate change conference) and I explained about the role of Polymeric industries and energy policies how to conform with requirements of COP 2015. Of course I am the head of technology management office at Barez industrial group (tire producer) from 2015 to present. Some of my activities in Barez are:

  • Technology consultant special in raw material and compounding (To change formulation according to REACH regulations that is European environmental rules)
  • Responsible to contact with technical managers of foreign companies (Repsol, Werba, Clariant, Cabot, Continental, …) to transfer technology
  • To write the organization technological, environmental and energy strategies and road maps

Academic Background

B. Sc. (2009-2013): Polymer engineer, Science & Research Branch of Islamic Azad University (SRBIAU), Tehran, Iran.

Project topic: Investigation on different type of wood in wood plastic composites (WPC) and replacement of normal wood powder with olive stone shell powder in wood plastic composites, under the supervision of Dr. Ali Abbasian.

M. Sc. (2013-2015): Polymer engineer, Iran Petrochemical & Polymer institute (IPPI), Tehran, Iran.

Project topic: Investigation of the factors affecting on the structure and performance of flat – sheet membranes based on cellulose acetate to remove E-coli bacteria, under the supervision of Dr. Jalal Barzin.
