Overview

{{TissueDB Material Accessibility Factors}} renders the Accessibility and Infrastructure Factors section for TissueDB Materials pages. It was called the "license plate" until 10 Aug 2026, when that term was retired. This collapsed section documents cultural, dietary, and infrastructure constraints that affect material accessibility in different contexts.

This section appears ONLY on Materials pages — never on Tissues, Structures, or Simulator pages.

This template is called by {{TissueDB Material Layout}} from its accessibility_rows and accessibility_notes parameters, within the Background collapsed section. (Before 10 Aug 2026 those were named license_plate_rows and license_plate_notes. A license_plate parameter shown in earlier versions of this page never existed.)

Column Definitions

Kosher	Compatible with Jewish dietary law
Vegan	Contains no animal-derived components

Altitude	Functions correctly at high altitude
Cost	Available at low cost in target markets
Shelf storage	Can be stored at room temperature
