Use this template to trim URLs.

• {{TRIMURL|https://www.appropedia.org}} → appropedia.org
• {{TRIMURL|https://www.appropedia.org/User:Sophivorus}} → appropedia.org/User:Sophivorus

Sometimes URLs contain = signs that will confuse the parser. For such cases, make the first parameter explicit like so:

• {{TRIMURL|1=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEwkFKvmnes}} → youtube.com/watch?v=sEwkFKvmnes

• Template:DOMAIN - Strip a URL to its domain only
