Template:TDB structures notice

From Appropedia
Template documentationedit documentation

Purpose

[edit source]

This template displays a standardized notice banner identifying a page as part of the SELF Tissue Database (TDB). It is used on Structures pages to clearly mark them as TissueDB structure entries and link readers to the SELF Tissue Database main portal.

This is the current notice template for structure pages. It replaces Template:TDB structure notice (legacy) with updated text that accurately describes the purpose of structure pages: documenting component tissues, anatomical relationships, and surgical context.

Parameters

[edit source]

This template has no configurable parameters. It displays a fixed notice with the SELF Logo and TDB identification text.

Parameter Type Required Default Purpose
(none) This is a simple notice template with no parameters. All content is fixed.

Place this template on structure pages in the TissueDB namespace:

{{TDB structures notice}}

The template will render a notice banner with:

  • SELF Logo image
  • Title: "This page is a structure entry for the SELF Tissue Database."
  • Text describing the page's role in documenting component tissues, anatomical relationships, and surgical context.

Placement Guidance

[edit source]

On TissueDB Structures pages, the skeleton template places {{TDB structures notice}} automatically. When used outside a skeleton template, place it after the Component Tissues table and before metadata templates.

Categories

[edit source]

This template automatically adds pages to Category:TDB structures (via includeonly) and is itself categorised under Category:TissueDB templates.
