Dear Ladies and Gentleman,

We are pleased to inform you that Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH launched a study mapping the social enterprise ecosystem in India on the 12 September in Mumbai. This study sets out a market assessment on the incubators and impact investors that act as enablers of the social enterprise ecosystem in the India. In doing so it clarifies the services these different organizations provide, their business models and sector-wise, geographic and service related gaps, as well as the challenges they face from the individual perspectives of system enablers. The study entitled 'Enablers for Change - A Market Landscape of the Indian Social Enterprise Ecosystem' was undertaken on behalf of GIZ by Ernst & Young Pvt Ltd, (EY). It builds on an earlier GIZ commissioned study by EY called 'Responsible Finance - A Catalyst for Responsible Business' on the international and Indian trends in responsible finance, where impact investment was identified as a key development in the country.

We would like to share with you the publication. You can find it on the bottom of this page (http://www.giz.de/themen/en/11163.htm) under the “download” section.
