I strongly encourage you to be walk the talk here. If you are about being Open, then be OPEN. Do not schedule sessions in advance. Several of the people I invited to the event were on the fence, and decided not to come when they saw it was not organized VERY clearly as open space, despite the name.
Also, while Appropedia is clearly involved, the number of talks focused on you is less inviting that asking what the attendees are doing and facilitating the sharing of that - and giving them all a space to share here on Appropedia about their own work.
Did you secure a facilitator? It helps, I believe to have one or two lead facilitators supported by a close group of process comfortable folks to help shephard people who are unfamiliar with the style. Looking forward to engaging with you all! NurtureGirl 16:57, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
