Not sure how likely it is that anyone is going to get hold of castor beans, but according to the BBC, it is the source of ricin, which is 1000 times more toxic than cyanide.

- According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, exposure is from ingestion of the beans. I read elsewhere that it would only take a few beans to kill, but you'd have to chew them. I don't read anywhere that suggests the beans should not be handled. Joeturner 09:13, 17 April 2013 (PDT)
