Lonny and students inside the Botica Popular, checking out walls to be plastered. This is the ecoladrillo wall (plastic bottles inside the wall). The plaster is extremely rough and uneven because when it was plastered last year, students/plasterers pushed too hard and crushed some of the bottles, creating an uneven surface that needs to be evened out by us this year.

Additionally, Gregorio (a community member we are consulting with) said that the bottles should have been staggered with one facing up, one facing down, for more strength. All of the bottles were positioned in one direction, limiting the strength of the wall itself.
