I currently have one year left at Humboldt State where I will graduate with a environmental science degree with the energy and climate option. I have lived in California all my life and plan to remain in California.

- Im very interested in how small scale technology can augment ones energy needs, like soler panels or micro hydro.
- Im interested in the construction of technology, what materials are used and how are they designed to create better efficiency.
- Community needs, with the use of appropriate technology large problems can be solved using small scale technology with less cost then traditional methods.
Experience in Appropriate Technology
- Simple solutions, I practice appropriate behavior everyday by turning off lights, turning down the heater, bike travel, etc.
- I worked for a appropriate landscape company doing things like native plant selection, decretive soler lighting, low flow drip systems.
- School, I have learned a lot with very interdisciplinary studies including, thermodynamics, oceanography, physics, chemistry, and i can apply theos skills to appropriate technology.
