Autobiography
During the time I worked on my family's farm, I learned many different useful skills. I learned how to work efficiently during time-sensitive operations. I am attending Hancock Central High School, and I will graduate in the year 2020. I have excelled in the Industrial Arts Department as well as math and science courses. I plan to go Michigan Technological University after I graduate highschool. As of this year, I joined the First Robotics Team #6581 (Hancock Bulldogs), where I have been placed into stressful situations and quickly approaching deadlines. I fabricated the drive train and wired the electronics board for the team's robot using skills such as welding, machining, modeling, and soldering. I bought my first 3D printer last year and have become very involved in the 3D printing community.
Interests
The fields I found my self interested in are as follows: 3D Printing, Aluminium TIG & MIG welding, CNC Machining, DIY consumer electronics, Horizontal Machining, Open source Technology, Steel TIG, and MIG welding, sustainable resources, recycling and Vertical Machining. I found myself interested in these fields as they are what I enjoy doing.
Hobbies
I usually spend my free time modeling parts for 3d printing or for robotics, learning about cutting edge technology, reading up on ways we are trying to improve the state of our planet, woodworking (lathe and resin work), metalworking (welding, machining, and casting), competitive skiing, hiking, playing online games with my friends, or spending time with my dogs.
