About Me[edit]

Jacob Gellatly
I am an Environmental Resources Engineering major at Humboldt State University. I am interested in studying sustainable housing systems, as well as renewable housing materials, and permaculture. Outside of class I enjoy backpacking, fishing, rock climbing, and playing music. I would like to develop housing systems, that take care of their inhabitants, and benefit the environment, instead of taking from it.

Interests in Engineering[edit]

  • Sustainable Housing Systems
  • Biochar as a means of bioremediation and improving soil quality
  • Transportation

Experience in Engineering[edit]

  • HSU CCAT Engineering Technician
  • Mastercam & Solidworks
  • Designing and building Hydroponic Tower Garden

Examples of work I've completed during my time in the HSU engineering program. The design document is still in progress.
