- Sustainable, efficient, and creative ways to get things done
- Coming up with solutions to problems without creating other problems
- Using materials already on hand before buying something new
- Getting better at building things
Experience in Appropriate Technology
- I grew up building and fixing things with my dad
- I haven't done any big appropriate technology projects but I come up with small, simpler solutions for my everyday problems (i.e. using a mason jar as a coffee cup and instead of buying a cozy to keep the coffee warm and my hand cool, just use a sock I already have)
- I'm currently taking ENG 305 at Humboldt State University and am gaining more knowledge and experience about appropriate technology
