Parabolic stadium light reflectors concentrate direct sunlight onto a blackened one gallon glass container of water and raises the water temperature to over 160 degrees f within three hours. The hot pasteurized water can be mixed with cooler water to provide a comfortable bathing temperature. A smaller bowl is used to pour clean water over one's self to rinse off soap suds. Dr Bronner's Liquid soap was chosen for this research project for being organic, biodegradable, and phosphate free. The soap suds rinsed off easily without leaving a soap film.
