:::Templates are a great solution for tables with repetitive structure. See for example infoboxes.{{w|Help:infobox}} A WYSIWYG table editor is probably best for one-off tables. I find raw wikitext editing to be easy enough for tables that do not have too many columns. The more columns a table has, the harder it is to edit in plain text, because the column representation in plain text differs more from the formatted appearance than the row representation does. --[[User:Teratornis|Teratornis]] 14:10, 28 January 2011 (PST)
