re: What is up? - Appropedia the Sustainability Wiki - sounds like we need a Leader to create and or initialize [seeing as neither now exist] Sustainable Sustenance.

When we now have no Sustainable Sustenance, does it Follow that we have no Leader? Not as simple as that? I know. An immensely intense Situation we have, and we need a War-Ending-Minded Individual like Winston Churchill - I would advise War even though and because, due to our need for Sustenance and Energy, We are our own [Worst] Enemy.

That was quick[edit source]

I thought you'd like Appropedia - good to see you here.

My interest in CCS is through a contract I'm doing with openCCS. That gets very technical, and so far it's only viewable when logged in - but it uses the CC-by license, and I'm sure it'll be a useful resource for Appropedia and Wikipedia in future. It's an important topic area (as is everything to do with climate) and we need to cover it here too.

You know how wikis work, but I'll give you our standard welcome as well. Hope to see you around here! --Chriswaterguy 06:52, 9 January 2012 (PST)

Welcome![edit source]

Hi Betaclamp,

Welcome to the Appropedia wiki. Please make yourself at home! If you need a general wiki-tutorial, see the main help page (or the more in-depth one on WikiEducator).

Check your preferences and be sure you verify your email address and turn on email notification if you'd like it -- you can find out when your talk page, or any page on your watchlist, is modified. You may want to upload a photo or information about yourself to your userpage (which is at User:Betaclamp).

If you have a particular interest or project in mind, go ahead and start it! If you have questions or suggestions, the best place to leave them is at our community discussion page, which we call the Village pump - you should get a fast response. Or, feel free to leave me a note on my talk page if you have further questions, need help finding your way around, have a cool idea for a project, or just want to chat.

Glad to have you here!

Biochem[edit source]

Hi Patman,

Hope you don't mind - I moved your new page to User:Betaclamp/Biochemistry, just until there are a few lines and the boilerplate is cleared away (or mostly cleared).

How's it going? Good to see you here again. --Chriswaterguy 05:04, 6 March 2012 (PST)

October 2012 and the Word is [UBC University Student Radio] that we all ought to know that the Industrial Revolution has Sounded the Death Khnell for Earth and that we had better look towards dealing with the Fallout rather than futile efforts to "COPE WITH THE PAST by maintaining it". ~ Betaclamp 22:52, 17 October 2012 (PDT)
